Sony Willing to Sell XPERIA Division #DTTNEWS

As we all know Sony's not doing too well in their smartphone business and it carried a loss in Q4 of 2014 compared to other smartphone giants the company is facing a $1.9 billion loss and decided to trim its smartphone line up to gain some profit. And now a report of Reuters says that "Sony executives are openly willing to make a joint venture with another partner."

There are no pending deals for Sony Mobile just yet. However, sources tell Reuters that “Sony can exit businesses.” The giant pulled a similar trick with its VIAO PC units previous year.

The good news for Sony fans is Sony still has a highly successful imaging sensor and Playstation 4 operations to lean on among others.
